The list of devices, available for App Icon Preview was extended with the Apple Watch.

Earlier available for iPhone and iPad prototypes, Preview makes it possible to upload several app icons, check them out in real life context: on the homescreen or in the app to choose the best looking one.

Android Native Prototyping App

Simulation of your Android app prototypes on the real devices is now possible with Mockup.io Android native app. It is synchronized with your projects in the web, supports all the prototype interactions and gif-animated elements. Once the project is cached, you may run your app prototype in the offline mode.

How easy is it to Use Mockup.io?

First you need to sign up, which only involves typing in your name, email address, and a password of your choosing. Having done that, you are ready to go.

Select the project type (iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, Android Phone, Android Tablet, or Custom) and the screen size you wish to display. Then load your mockups into the app. The frames will be applied automatically. Everything is quick and easy to set up.

How to create interactive prototypes?

Once you’ve uploaded your app mockups, you may set up link between hotspots and pages.

You are allowed to set various transitions animations for more realistic experience.

For any long screen mockup there are available adjustable fixed zones. As soon as these zones are set up, they remain still when the page is scrolled.

To add extra life to the prototype you may upload animated gif mockups.

How does the Collaboration Feature Work?

You can keep a project to yourself, share it with team members or set open for public access.

Once you have opened a project to a team, prototypes can be run by individuals within it.

Team members can comment and share ideas about the prototypes or simulate the prototype on the real device with native iOS or Android app.
