Every day we are inundated with adverts, all around us. They’re in newspapers, on billboards, on websites and TV – and we’re exposed to hundreds on a daily basis. The vast majority of the time, we ignore them because we’ve learned to tune them out – but every so often you come across an advert that’s so clever, you instantly stop and appreciate it.
I wanted to explore some of the more interesting and clever print adverts that I could find – the kind of adverts that make you pay attention because they’re out of the ordinary, and make you think.
Each of these adverts has a message to get across, and instead of writing reams of copy, they’ve all done a great job of visually presenting that message in a way that’s imaginative, intelligent and unexpected.
I hope that you find this collection interesting and that it helps to give you some creative ideas that you can apply to your own work. If you’ve discovered any other interesting and intelligent print ads that you’d like to share, I’d love to hear about them in the comments section.
