While doing some research for a corporate website that I’m working on I discovered that corporate web design has changed a lot in the past years. For starters, almost everyone is using WordPress because the content is easy to manage and the person inside an organization that’s handling the website and its administrative area doesn’t necessarily need to be a web designer.
Besides the content management system, the general layout for a corporate website design is not a general layout anymore, instead it gets a lot more creative and it is in essence unique for every site. This is a great leap forward considering that there are, or better said were, a lot of people inside companies who wanted their website really rigid and old-school.
I don’t try to be mean to the people who don’t know how to manage a corporate image; it probably wasn’t fully their fault anyway. As it happens now, people were using templates instead of hiring a web designer to build the website from ground up. The difference is that back then there were only a few templates to choose from and maybe that’s why many of the corporate websites were ending up looking the same. Nowadays, not only that there are a lot of templates and WordPress themes, but they are also of high quality thanks to the marketplaces which have evolved a lot and increased the competitiveness.
In this article you will see a collection of corporate WordPress design inspiration to help you design a modern corporate website and hopefully your clients will like the new approach and its benefits regarding image and functionality.
