Everybody knows that letters can be incredibly powerful. A love letter, a declaration of war, a peace treaty, all hold a place in history, whether it is the history of a country or that of a person. However, how we depict what we are saying can add power to the written word and that is a function of typography designs. Graphic designers can spend much of their time selecting just the right typography to be used for a design; one that will convey what the message or the brand wants to get across.
When experimenting with typography designs, each artist is able to evoke sentiments in the reader, often without the viewer realizing it. The size, colors, spacing and contrast between the design elements are as important as the actual words and their meaning. A listing of city names is just that, but with the right design elements they can elicit memories of a wonderful journey in the reader.
Typography prints are available online through many different sites and the amateur designer can tap into this plethora of offerings to complement living spaces. Similarly, businesses are able to show their personality through the correct design. So do not disregard the impact of typeface when building a brand or selecting artwork.
