When wanting to learn to see if you can create top notch vector illustrations what better test is it than to try and make vector portraits. The level of details makes it easier to tell if you are making mistakes, especially when the mouth, nose, eyes, eyebrows, eyelashes, ears and all the other little details that must be made carefully.

There are two different vector portraits styles that you will see in this article. One of them is represented by the realistic vector artworks which in most of the cases can fool you to think they are actual photos, and the other one is represented by the vector designs which can be clearly recognized by any viewer and to which are usually added various effects.
