We all heard of the hippie movement before. It began during the mid-1960s and spread fast to other countries of the world. This movement had a big effect on culture because it influenced music, television, arts, film, and literature. Another unexpected result was in the typography world when the idea of hippie font was introduced.

A lot of people think that the 60s were a time of experimentation when everybody did what they felt and were simply loving life. We can really say that this period was a good one especially for the mindset that brought to people. Today, designers bring back the spirit of the 60s using typography that adds a retro feel to their work.
